perry 82 #1 Posted February 17, 2008 went and helped my buddy with the purchase of his new to him D-200 . its a pretty nice tractor. 20hp kohler runs great. hydro trans and lifts feel strong. brand new front tires and nice rears. needs a seat and the steering has alot of play. came with mower deck, snow plow, disc, spike drag, lawn roller, & a JD/brinley garden plow. does anybody have a link for a downloadable d200 manual. model # 1-0631

Rollerman 290 #8 Posted February 17, 2008 Perry your friend there made a god haul. Looks like a nice one! I sent my last one away yesterday...great tractors...but in my yard about like trying to use the "Big Muskee" shovel to dig a basement. Some tractor seem to come & go...i'm sure I'll dig up another someday. Your friend did real good though with the implements!
TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #9 Posted February 17, 2008 I bet you know just the place to have him try out that dozer blade, don't you? It'll be a chain reaction now though..... you'll have to keep helping him haul more and more Horses home all the time now.
combatmp29r 27 #10 Posted February 17, 2008 Hey Terry I was gonna say you need to get a D for the herd, but then I thought that I'd probably have to help carry it up the stairs So never mind.
pond195520032003 27 #11 Posted February 17, 2008 Perry, youre buddy did great tell him its a 1975! also i see one of the peddles is missing for the turning brakes i think i have that one will check (could possibly be the same one) thats on it :D
TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #12 Posted February 17, 2008 Don't worry, Joel..... There won't be any D series tractors in my barn. I don't want anyone to get offended, but they don't do much for me at all. Sort of like a cross between a and a in my eyes. I'll stick with the little belt-driven, easy to work on & get parts for tractors that will fit in my shop and not go through the floor.

perry 82 #17 Posted February 17, 2008 the manual section ? . :imstupid: dummy me. i thought something was missing with the brake pedal. i notice the right brake is not hooked to anything. as for hauling horse's he has hauled alot of them for me with his truck. beats hauling a heavy load long distance with my little 4 banger S-10. so i dont mind the road trips, just as long as he does'nt take fond to the 1960's models. those are my to claim . pond195520032003 27 #18 Posted February 17, 2008 Perry, i found the peddle, and checked my D-200 and both peddles are the same just the inside one has the lever so you can use both at the same time they both have the hole so you could use either
