hoosier 1 #1 Posted February 17, 2008 Hi guys, Love your site. Guess I'll jump in. I have two 856's. One I got near my hometown. The other I got nearly a year later in the next county.Tractor serial numbers are 26 numbers apart. Engine serial numbers 11 apart. I don't know the daily production figures for that time period but I wonder, could these units have been put together the same week, the same day, the same shift? I think it's kind of cool to think about. Thanks, Jim
TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #2 Posted February 17, 2008 :D , Jim! Sounds like your 856's were definitely inside the factory at the same time! Could have been real close together by the sounds of it.

wh500special 2,053 #16 Posted February 17, 2008 The "Brothers Jim", Delphi huh? You're not far from me as I am on the other side of Lafayette about 45 miles. If you ever find yourself looking for something specific let me know. Jim M...last fall when you went thru Delphi you must have been on the way to/from my house! hope the deal we made on the D's and other stuff treated you OK. I still look out in the shed out back and notice that something is missing! Can't believe I am down to only a single D-auto... But, my wife is a happier person! Steve PS - where I originally come from, being a "Hoosier" is not a good thing (I'll bet Terry in MO knows what I mean). Still takes some getting used to...
