TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted October 18, 2009 That's fairly normal for the Eaton 1100 models, John. There should be some resistance and they sometimes tend to push easier with the DCL in the "full speed ahead" position.
wallfish 18,072 #3 Posted October 18, 2009 WHEEEW!!!!!!!!!!!!! It rolls pretty easy with the lever neutral. Of coarse, I didn't really push it around much. I can check it out some more when it stops raining in a couple of days. Thanks for the relief! I thought I was going to start smoking again, it's been 2 weeks without a smoke. sorekiwi 761 #4 Posted October 18, 2009 I almost got caught with this when I got my 520H - was so used to the old Sundstands not wanting to be pushed unless the tow valve was open. Guess the Eaton is a different animal!!
wallfish 18,072 #5 Posted October 18, 2009 I don't think my C145 pushes around and that has an Eaton but I can't remember if I even tried to push it. Hmmmm I guess I'm going out to push tractors in the rain.

Horse Fanatic 51 #7 Posted October 18, 2009 the clicking sound mine makes when I push it sounds like a ball bearing bouncing around. It doesn't sound good but it's normal, I guess it's a check valve.
pfrederi 18,638 #8 Posted October 18, 2009 My 418A roll pretty easy but also makes the loud clacking noise. If you try to push it faster there will start to be some resistance. If she goes up and down hill or up out of a ditch when hot you are OK
hodge 6 #9 Posted October 19, 2009 Huh... the 520 I had was a bear to push, and it did not make those noises... it was strong and trouble free, though.
