520H at auction

I'm watching this 520H on an online auction close to home. (ends today at 11:20 EST)

I don't know much about the 520H's other than they seem pretty popular (expensive).

This one is listed as having 518 hours on the meter. Obviously, they've been some pretty tough hours.

Curious what those of you familiar with the 520 can tell from these photos.

What I can tell already.

• Running condition = unkown
• Damaged LH steering, possibly a broken tie-rod and perhaps a bent spindle.
  • though looking at the steering wheel alignment, could be something else going on
• Damaged hood
• Broken tail lamps
• Couple tears in the seat and missing center cap on steering wheel

Positives

1. Forward swept axle
2. Nice hubcaps
3. Rear discharge or Recycler deck
4. Low hours - if accurate and if engine is good

Closed at $500. I opted out at $300

Snow plow for it currently at $140 with 40 minutes to go.

Easily, but I'm not currently interested flipping tractors or parts for profit. I don't have the time or space.

I was interested from a "minimal cost of ownership" point of view.

did not look like recycler mower - - why did you think that? looks like a standard 42 rd --  a recycler usually has decals on each end saying Recycler

 

hub caps and deck and chrome muffler cover would sell for 500

Because I'm not familiar with the recycler decks.
