Old Wheelhorse?

Recommended Posts

Morning,

Would this be an old Wheelhorse given the shifter and hood style?

After looking at the picture.. noticed it has an 8HP engine when tractor data link you posted states it came with a Kohler 7HP. Any idea what brand 8 hp engine on it in the listing?

That's a Briggs & Stratton.

Judging by your picture and looking at all the clues ( steering wheel ,  fuel levels , footplates , ect ) it’s definitely looks like a  63-64 Minneapolis Moline or Jacobson garden tractor. I tried blowing up the picture, the best I could on my big screen and it looks like where the air cleaner comes out the hood stand might have been trimmed. The Briggs and Stratton looks to be newer than a 1963 or 64 too so I’m betting on a repower has been done at some point in the last 60 years .

Evidently i had a brain fart earlier. I said simplicity when I knew darn well it was a Jacobsen built tractor.

Much like a Chief 100.
