CHARGER9AUTO 3 #1 Posted February 16, 2008 The 1045 is a cross over tractor from the Round hood models of the early 60's to the Square hood types from 1965 to 1969. This model used Round hood rear fenders with a new Square type hood. The 1045 was only manufactured from August to October 1964 with a total of 1,100 1045's made. The new for the 1964 Wheel Horse model line 10hp Kohler combined with the 1045's short frame made for a power house of a garden tractor. This 1045 was found in Toms River, NJ with a 36 inch gear drive mower deck. This picture shows the 1045 dress in "Battle Gear" and ready to pull .... even with the mower deck on!
