What model Wheelhorse?

Evening, 

Local marketplace listing.. what model? 63,64 year based on seat pan? What’s it worth? Seller states run drive cuts mows. No other info or pictures. Selling asking $600.00

Throttle Cabel positions,seat pan and footrest suggest 1960. Way overpriced IMHO. Hood chopped and not original motor hurts it bad. Looks like mowing deck might be a 61? I do like the rear tires though..

So what would you say it’s worth with all the modifications, as a workhorse. If it does in fact, run cut and drive as seller states and tires hold air good.

Those open front & rear gear drive decks give poor lift characterists - later decks are better suited to give better results.

It looks to have the 3 piece transmission - not the familiar 2 piece Unidrive. Not exactly a plus IMHO... The OE sawtooth front tire(s)  in that condition are a rare find...

So not being familiar with those model decks.. and can’t see the front- it’s physically open on the front to allow grass debris into the blades?? So the opposite of my rear discharge 856 deck? Also this 3 piece transmission you say not exactly a plus- is a LOT less durable and reliable simple compared to 856 unidrive transmission?

To me the 3 piece trans (a plus to me), footrest, clutch pedal, steering wheel looks to be in good shape, lift arm and quadrant, seat, fenders and seat pan, wheels and tires (if usable), front axle, clutch pulley belt guard (if still There) plus running engine (looks to be a HF predetor). I wouldnt care to have maybe 300/350 in If it was in close proximity to me, but I'm a sucker for the little Suburbans. Here is a pic of my 550 Suburban with a HF Predetor engine swap and it worked out great, but I would have preferred to have the original Lauson engine back on it and still might convert it back one of these days. I still have original motor that came on mine, but PO busted the block trying to get exhaust pipe out.

Very nice to see the same tractor fully intact with hood of what the example in question used to look like… the predator 212… being less displacement … can it tow mow and drive without sluggish issues compared to the Original engines these smaller Wheelhorse tractor and engines came with originally?

The 212 Predators are 6.5 HP and supposed to be 1 whole HP more than the 5.5 Lauson . They are like a lot of the newer stuff and just don't lug around like the older stuff, once they lose their rpms they are done unlike the older longer stroke engines of yesteryear.
