Barcokid 0 #1 Posted 10 hours ago I am restoring a 1976 Wheel Horse D250 equipped with an HY-2 hydraulic pump. While the tractor runs and drives—and lifts perfectly when the control rod is pulled back—the hydraulic lift pressure refuses to release when I push the rod forward. Currently, I can only release the pressure manually, either by pressing down directly on the control arm or by removing the cylinder's top bolt cap and pushing the cylinder down. It feels as though the mechanism is misaligned or lacking sufficient downward travel. Does anyone have a diagram of this setup or guidance on what to check? I could probably rig the guide to force more downward pressure, but I prefer to fix it the right way. Thanks in advance for any advice!
