lynnmor 9,015 #6 Posted Tuesday at 01:38 PM Years ago, I bought aftermarket ignition coils for my Arctic Cat snowmobile from Dennis Kirk. First time with the new coils they failed several miles back in the woods on a little used trail. It was getting dark and snow started falling and I was at the bottom of a steep trail with no chance of towing it out with the other sled. After exhausting all options, I banged the spark plug gaps to just a few thousandths and it fired right up. Made it to road where it completely died in the middle. We rode double on a single passenger sled and got the trailer to retrieve it. Kirk said to send them back, after which they said there is no warranty on electrical items even with the juice running out of them. Never again from those clowns.
