Goldnboy 1,149 #1 Posted 4 hours ago I recently installed the hitch assembly on a C161 auto. One of the issues I have is length of travel or lift motion. I am using a short clevis up front and chain in the rear on a slot hitch. Do I need to screw in the trunion on the cable? Currently the cable is at the end of the trunion and I can't really use less chain links. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ineedanother 2,817 #2 Posted 1 hour ago The bell crank (#19) has 3 holes for the trunion. The farther holes provide for more travel. I guess that sounds obvious but what hole is the trunion in? Screwing the trunion in (shortening the cable) doesn't change the distance of travel, it changes the starting and ending points. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
