Looking for part # and where I can purchase the "blade control rod" for my 1984 GT1100 wheel horse. It broke off during last year's snowstorm and finally now getting a chance to prep for the coming winter.

Welcome!

Got a model number for the plow? That would allow you to search in the Manuals - Implements section for the Exploded diagram & parts list.

Is it a simple 1/2" diameter steel rod with a 90 degree bend at each end?? If so many of us (myself included) make a better version using a straight piece of 1/2" round stock and thread the ends 1/2-20 for a pair of Heim Joints. MUCH smoother feel, no slop.

This is the blade sold back in 1984 for your tractor but any blade from 1973-2012 for the long frame tractors is basically the same so you could have one of many.

I've done one too. EXCELLENT upgrade.

The side angle control is far superior to OE.
