314-H Kwik way loader- weight bucket

Hello all, this is the first time ive hooked up the weight bucket. Holy moly!! Ive discovered that the side bar have been welded on the outside about an 1’ past where they are supposed to be. (That screws up my hitch mounting). What i want to know is where the weight bucket hooks to the axle, there’s a lot of slop there. Ive read the manual and it says nothing about the weight box and how to hook that up. I think im going to have the bars welded back to stock. I want to know about where the weight box meets the axle, is there a spacer there? Or do i even have it hooked up right!

The weight box was made to connect to the subframe behind the axle.  Bolt #6 holds it.
