Jim_M 179 #1 Posted October 11, 2009 I know this one isn't at the top of everyone's list ( including me) but the price was right and it was close to home so I thought I would take a chance. I had it running 5 minutes after I took it off the truck and it's probably the easiest starting, best running Tecumseh that I own, mows good too. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but it's not something you see every day so I'll probably put it up on my pallet rack in the the back of the garage and hang on to it for a while. Rollerman 290 #7 Posted October 12, 2009 Just when you finally made room for your truck inside the garage you bring something else home? Never seen one like it...bring it out to the lake next year & will put an outboard behind it for some fun.
bell 11 #8 Posted October 12, 2009 bring it out to the lake next year & will put an outboard behind it for some fun. It is kinda boatlike... isn't it. :hide:
Jim_M 179 #9 Posted October 12, 2009 Just when you finally made room for your truck inside the garage you bring something else home? This one doesn't take up much space. If I take the steering column off I can back the truck right over the top of it. :hide:
Rollerman 290 #10 Posted October 12, 2009 This one doesn't take up much space. If I take the steering column off I can back the truck right over the top of it I did that once to a 702 & I wouldn't recomend that. :scratchead:
whfan74 2,071 #11 Posted October 12, 2009 Dang you Jim...........I put a couple of bids on that. That came from Peru didn't it? Well I wasn't home when it ended or you might have had to pay a little more for it. Congrats on the find!
CasualObserver 3,411 #12 Posted October 12, 2009 Cool Jim... I've got one of those. Bought it for the same reason... right price, and you don't see them a lot. A storage hint.... th R-26 fits inside the WH 4-wheel wagon!
Jim_M 179 #13 Posted October 12, 2009 Dang you Jim...........I put a couple of bids on that. That came from Peru didn't it? Well I wasn't home when it ended or you might have had to pay a little more for it. Congrats on the find! Scott, You're right I bought it from Bill in Peru. If you would have bid again you would have owned it. I ended up with it for about $2.00 less than my maximum bid. Jim
whfan74 2,071 #14 Posted October 13, 2009 Well I am glad that it came home with you. I will be curious on seeing that thing at some point. It does look pretty cool! Congrats again! I was pulling your leg.......I probably wouldn't have gone too much higher either. That should be a fun little one to play around on!
