As long as the jaw of the pipe wrench is securly contacting the key and the back of the pipe wrench is contacting the shaft there won't be any problem, I have done it several times. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'm not familiar with this engine model but with K-series, I replace the PTO with a spare wheel hub.
