The other is your belt problem. I looked back at the PTO posts you had. Your deck spindles, mule drive, and PTO itself need to be checked out. I don't like the looks of the PTO. You don't need to remove the bearing from the clutch housing to service it. Here's a bit on what I did to one. I'm getting excellent service with sealed spindle bearings. I believe I'm on the 5th season with one of my decks with the sealed bearings and I mow a lot. In any case I feel like there must be a bearing/drag issue someplace. You shouldn't be going through belts like that. I may have the stuff you need if replacement is needed. Spindles from a 1979 42" RD, pto housing and mule drive. You're only about an hour and a half west. On another note guys, I know Dino Part 9 is way over do. It's coming.
