horseman with no horse

i have a new holland 914a deck, with a brand new bevel gear box installed and all its brackets plus spares. it spins free and is really nice. it also has its pto shaft too which is nice, i also got this plow/disk? clearly for a big boy tractor but not sure what it is. it has a new cylinder on it as well for the hydraulics. it was being used not too long ago so i know it should be good still. the disks spin free and arent in bad shape. any one got an idea on what my little lot here is worth? and what they might go to? im looking to sell as well if anyone is interested.

The thing in your 2nd post is a land plow. It is a 2 bottom and is the fancy one instead of hooking to to 3 point hitch to lift this one is hydraulic.

It can go on any tractor with remote hydraulics anything more then 30hp.

The New Holland 914A was a mid mount mower made for Ford/NH compact tractor line made by Shibaura.  This mower was made in the 1990s, probably mid to late 1990s since NH's name is on it.

That disc is a tow behind type disc with a hydraulic cylinder to adjust the ride height.  It would be at home behind an 8n, which typically make 25 to 30 hp at the hitch.

I don’t think it would work for an 8n since they never had the option for remove hydraulics.

That looks like a 8+ ft wide disc.  Probable need more HP than an 8N.

We pulled a 10 ft one with our Ford 4000, 48 HP on drawbar.

I pulled an 8' disc behind my 8n once.  HP didn't seem to be an issue, but picking it up was a different story.

8n's can be modified for live/remote hydraulics, low volume, though.

We have a 9ft disc for our 3400 ford. Pulls it like no problem!
