FLtractor 184 #1 Posted 7 hours ago Morning, Not looking to repaint my 856.. just want to condition and make it faded paint shine again. Preferably nothing that attracts dusts or other debris. Recommendations?

rjg854 13,140 #4 Posted 6 hours ago You can either brush it on, or wipe it on. Somewhat self-leveling.

So just wash the tractor first.. dry it completey.. apply penetrol. Wait 24 hours to wax to keep shine?

John c 181 #8 Posted 5 hours ago I've been working over a C101 recently, the original paint was in very bad shape, I wanted to do something but also wanted to keep the original look. I chose penetrol and was very pleased with it, the paint is still ratty, burned out and mostly missing, but it now has kind of a matte sheen to it. Home depot or Ace hardware will have it in the paint department 1

So one would think it had the opposite effect and not shine it up generally.
