Morning,

Not looking to repaint my 856.. just want to condition and make it faded paint shine again. Preferably nothing that attracts dusts or other debris. Recommendations?

You can either brush it on, or wipe it on. Somewhat self-leveling.

That’s good to know. So just wash the tractor first.. dry it completey.. apply penetrol. Wait 24 hours to wax to keep shine?

No need to wax, really. Your choice 😁

I've been working over a C101 recently, the original paint was in very bad shape, I wanted to do something but also wanted to keep the original look. I chose penetrol and was very pleased with it, the paint is still ratty, burned out and mostly missing, but it now has kind of a matte sheen to it.  Home depot or Ace hardware will have it in the paint department

After reading about penetrol since rjg854 recommendation… it’s interesting it works so good on tractor finishes since it’s a product used to thin paint. So one would think it had the opposite effect and not shine it up generally.

If I were to use the penetrol. Would I want to paint graphics on tractor before or after the penetrol?
