800 special plow mount question

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a long frame snow blade and I would like to put it on my 800 special. I see that the mounting bracket on Wheel Horse parts and More, fits many tractors including the 800 special. My question is, does anybody know how that bracket mounts to the frame since this tractor does not have a uni-drive transmission? I do see some square holes in the frame back in that area and I'm wondering if carriage bolts or something hook into those holes?

Any help would be appreciated. I can't seem to find any drawings or videos on the 800 special for plow installation.

Thanks!

Larry

Back in 1971 the dozer was sold in 2 packages. The basic blade and the completing kit.

These should address your questions.

This blade was issued for a tractor that used the same transmission - the A-90 Special
