Cyclometer for Wheelhorse odometer?

Morning,

 

Wondering if anyone has attached a cyclometer or some kind of odometer to their Wheelhorse to measure the miles it’s been driven.. possibliy one of those easy to attach to axel meters?

Miles would be an interesting metric but HOURS of operation is more important for many tractors. Some implements don't require movement.

Off topic (usually its @WHX?? going straight to left field :lol:) but did you end up with the free B-80 that was posted here in the RS  classifieds and was in Florida?

I have some similar to this. the one bad thin is most do not have replaceable batteries, so you loose hour history in 2 years when battery dies. I have looked lately, but see if you can find one with a replacable battery.

Last year I stuck my GPS cycle computer on my 854 for a session of lawn mowing.

I don’t recall the exact “mileage" or average speed but they were consistent with what I estimated before the experiment--about 2 miles at 3.5 mph in second gear. 

The companion iPhone app showed the route tracing from “plowing the lawn” but, due to overhanging trees and the built-in imprecision of consumer-grade GPS technology, it looked like spaghetti!
