633 throttle cable

hello, been a bit since i been on here asking dumb questions. would anyone happen to have some pictures of the correct throttle cable routing on a 633 with the K141? also i believe all those tractors were recoil start with a mag ignition would they have ever come with the battery tray welded to the frame in front of the gear for the steering. thanks for the help

Battery tray - the 1961 701 and the 1962 502,552, and 702 all had the welded in battery tray. My 502 came with the optional steel open top "tool box" the size of a battery in its place...

1963 models may have been the first year of bolt in removeable trays like the 1964 models...

 is it possible someone removed the tray from mine? when i bought it someone had installed a battery and a 12v coil because the mag ignition system was destroyed. if its not to be there id like to remove it

The battery tray holder on a 633 would have had a tool box instead of battery. A pic of my 633

The throttle cable will come over the top of the exhaust pipe and then down to the governor wheel. I'm searching for a pic of that for you.

Throttle cable routing. This is on my 867 but it should be routed pretty muych the same on your 633.

ah thank you very much for the pics and help. i was going to cut the band off my frame but i see now that i need to find a tool box instead in case i need to work on some john deere's along the way. and my throttle has those provisions but someone has it hacked up. im trying to get it sorted out

Not an easy task, many were removed and dis-guarded. :(  If you need dimensions to make your self one, I will be happy to get some more pics & measurements.
