FLtractor 171 #1 Posted 18 hours ago (edited) Afternoon, wondering what model tractor this is.. is it a Toro Wheelhorse? If it’s not Wheelhorse, anyone know what it is? Sticker looks like it MIGHT say Toro… attached discription.. makes me wonder what motor they refer to as worth $470 alone.. is the tractor as is appears worth $275? Didn’t attach but there is a video of it pull cord starting.. not driving just starting Edited 18 hours ago by FLtractor

Toro didn't acquire WH until the 80s and kept them separate until the 90s. That looks to be a good bit older.

953 nut 66,658 #6 Posted 17 hours ago That is a TORO. Toro made some riding mowers that weren't great quality, that is why they bought Wheel Horse. They had already stained their reputation so it was easier to buy a god name. If all it needs is a belt don't you think the seller would spring for a $ 25.00 belt to make it worth $ 200.00 more? Just because the seller paid $ 470.00 for the engine doesn't mean it is wroth that now, don't buy junk based on the seller's misrepresentation.

kpinnc 18,477 #8 Posted 12 hours ago Wow the dude on the cover of the manual must jockey horses too. Looks like he might weigh 80lbs!
oliver2-44 11,539 #9 Posted 6 hours ago Not the greatest picture, but that looks like a replacement engine. I would verify what HP it is. Also front of fiberglass hood is broken. its repairable, but you get to learn to work with fiberglass.

Oldest advertising trick in the book, an operator of small stature will make the garden tractor look BIGGER.
