brianc31525 0 #1 Posted 17 hours ago I have a 520H 73501, 5904080 and am trying to find a new switch. the 111216 switch has been superceded by 103990 switch and frankly im lost. The B spade on my switch has just about fallen off and id like to find something local instead of ordering it from Toro. Are there any other switches that cross reference to this one? If not what switch do i need?
WHX?? 56,756 #2 Posted 16 hours ago I bet Toro is quite proud of them. Guessing you googled part numbers and scoured sites for one? An alternative might be a gently used one there should be plenty of those around.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 12,263 #3 Posted 11 hours ago 103990 is a very popular switch so should not be hard to find. There is no substitute. There is a good chance the B terminal overheated because of a loose or dirty connection. One thing to check before plugging in a new switch. Click on the picture of the switch to see the connector. 2

AND... do disassemble the dreaded 9 pin connector to inspect it for corroded, loose terminals and ANY signs of melting - a common 520 problem.
parsonsponyz 341 #5 Posted 8 hours ago to Red Square. Check all the electrical connections to hopefully eliminate any future difficulties. That model is known for electrical issues but once maintained they will work well.
