eric8 3 #1 Posted 4 hours ago Hi folks. New member here and I've just acquired my first Wheel Horse ever; a 1993 520H. Does someone have any good reference photos showing the factory routing of the battery cables? Specifically, how they exit the battery "box" area? Would also like to see how the negative side cable is attached to the frame/engine. Lastly, my machine has a large rubber line on the right side of the engine that starts underneath the muffler area, runs down across the PTO pulleys, and dumps under the frame. I'm guessing some type of drain, but I can't tell what it's draining? Nor do I see it in any of the parts breakdowns.

eric8 3 #3 Posted 2 hours ago No problem, I will get some photos of my battery cable routing as soon as I get home. As far as the unknown rubber hose, here is a pic of it circled in blue. On my tractor, it appears to be going to nothing on either end.

It pulls the PTO clutch together to engage the mower deck. Real nice looking tractor !! Edited 1 hour ago by Achto
JimSraj 575 #5 Posted 1 hour ago That’s not a rubber hose if I’m looking at what you are asking about. It’s part of the PTO clutch assembly.
