ebinmaine 78,947 #2 Posted Saturday at 05:16 PM This is how Trina and I expanded our collection quite a lot a few years ago. I rented a 26 ft U-Haul which we filled. Then went back several times with our own utility trailer. I have since sold / given away / traded most of those items to other folks.
Sparky-(Admin) 25,333 #3 Posted Saturday at 08:50 PM I would love to find a haul like that to make! Of course it’s sad that someone has to pass to make that happen. Circle of life I guess. 2 3
squonk 46,629 #4 Posted Saturday at 09:40 PM I had the chance to do the same a couple of times. I didn't have the thousands of dollars to invest that the people thought it was worth. Managed to pick up a tractor, snow blower, deck and grader blade like 3 years ago but that's about it.

76c12091520h 4,185 #6 Posted Saturday at 10:51 PM TRIP 2 consisted of some NOS parts, buckets of used parts, numerous Kohlers, and some more tractors including some little tractor with some kind of cutting attachment on the front of it. Not sure if that's worth anything or not? Best part is that it was 2 tenths of a mile from my house. 3

Some folks think they can.... I saw a decent but rusty looking 3 or 400 series on Facebook Marketplace a few months back that a dealership was selling with a decent sized mowing deck for 3 grand. It must have been too high because it was on there for months. I think it got taken off as I haven’t seen it lately.

I think it was all about where the dealerships were rather than the factory. We had a dealership down the road from where I grew up in SW PA but just didn't have a budget for one back then. I still see them all over the place when I go back to visit.
sqrlgtr 2,948 #17 Posted 6 hours ago Wow nice haul I would think PO would like that the collection is going to someone who appreciates it. If no one in my immediate family wants mine when I'm gone, I hope someone gets them that appreciates them as much as I do/did. Ive said it on here before but I do envy you guys that are in the WH target rich areas, we just don't have that many around here.
