Cleaning out a local collection today

This is how Trina and I expanded our collection quite a lot a few years ago. I rented a 26 ft U-Haul which we filled. Then went back several times with our own utility trailer.

I have since sold / given away / traded most of those items to other folks.

I would love to find a haul like that to make!
Of course it’s sad that someone has to pass to make that happen. Circle of life I guess.

I had the chance to do the same a couple of times. I didn't have the thousands of dollars to invest that the people thought it was worth.

Managed to pick up a tractor, snow blower, deck and grader blade like 3 years ago but that's about it.

Ours was an auction. A LOT of stuff. Bids were predominantly low.

Nice haul.

One of the local hardware stores has a C 160 with a snowblower and a C 101 with a deck on consignment.  They want $1,500 each.  Nice looking tractors, but......

TRIP 2 consisted of some NOS parts, buckets of used parts, numerous Kohlers, and some more tractors including some little tractor with some kind of cutting attachment on the front of it. Not sure if that's worth anything or not? Best part is that it was 2 tenths of a mile from my house.

How much would you want for that seat pan and seat cover?

Seen it before. One man's perceived fortune is another man's...hard pass.
