Easton Rich 1,219 #1 Posted 2 hours ago This is my current project, a 69' Raider 10. It has a HORRIBLE knock, but it runs smooth otherwise. I've got an Onan P220 that runs and functions perfectly. Our next option is a 14hp Kohler that also functions great. Should I rebuild the HH100 or swap it?

ri702bill 12,086 #3 Posted 2 hours ago IMHO... spending your resources - time & money - going thru a Tecumseh is akin to rearranging the deck chairs on the listing Titanic... Swap it with the Kohler.

Handy Don 16,554 #5 Posted 1 hour ago Piling on... I am not a Tecumseh hater. There can be valid reasons to invest time and treasure to resuscitate one. However, if a low- or no-cost compatible Kohler is available to swap in, the swap wins.
Easton Rich 1,219 #6 Posted 1 hour ago I've got another HH100 to rebuild also. These techys are really piling up!
