Is it getting spark? Is the wiring for all of the safety switches good? Is the coil getting power?

Run a jumper directly from the battery positive to the coil positive, then crank it  and see if you have spark.   Is the ignition module connected correctly?  If you connect it backwards you'll fry it.  The condenser connects to the positive terminal on an Onan.  This smoothes out voltage spikes that can fry the ignition module.

Not to hijack Paul's thread. Getting ready to bench run a 220 Red lead & condenser to coil positive from pickup. Black lead to negative. Does one need to ground coil negative post to the engine block?

No, just ground the engine.  Battery + to red wire, and battery + to starter solenoid to crank.

Thanks Bill. Now following with interest as I can't get any spark from my bench test motor. 

Coil test readings match almost exactly what Paul's do. Ignition module passes manual specified test. 12 volts direct to coil from battery.

Update…

Still won’t start. No spark.

 

changed flywheel and new key

new coil and condenser 

new spark plugs

new coil wires

 

It has 12v at the coil with the key on. 
 

There are a couple of suggestions above that I need to try.

I found my no spark problem. Turns out I had spark after all it was just very very dim or dare I say weak. Checking in the dark is the only way I could see it. Just the plugs laying on the block. Screwed it down to the bench with a IV bottle and she ran like a champ. A miss at throttle but most likely dirty carb.

Consider making new, solid core, plug wires for it.  I do this on all my Onans. Any video of it running?

I did but it came out crappy. I should do new plug wires might be the cause of the miss too. Not gonna worry about it for now since it's just a spare motor for a 520 or future build tractor. Will super tune it when the time comes. I have this crazy notion to put it in a plow mule.
