Easton Rich 1,160 #1 Posted 4 hours ago If any of you have seen I've posted about this tractor a little when I run into problems. Here is the new one: This tractor came to me in buckets, literally. It had no wiring, or any essential to get it running. I had a 416-8 with a great K-341 and very nice wiring. I started to weed through everything I didn't need and remove it. I took out the PTO interlock and seat switch. This tractor never had a hour meter. The solenoid is questionable, but I wanted to rule things out. Whats going on? gwest_ca-(File Mod) 12,199 #2 Posted 37 minutes ago Looking at the 416-8 wiring - You just removed the source of power to the ignition switch. With the pto off the pto switch powers the ignition switch through the battery terminal. When the pto is engaged the pto switch no longer powers the ignition switch. The ignition switch power is now sourced through the seat switch which is closed with operator in the seat. This feeds the accessory terminal of the ignition switch through a back door so to speak. Operator falls out of seat with the pto engaged the engine ignition no longer gets power and shuts off.
