ineedanother 2,076 #1 Posted 5 hours ago I should know what might be recommended for this but Is Penetrol a good option for routine treatment for the underside of mower decks?

peter lena 9,854 #4 Posted 4 hours ago @ineedanother been doing this for years , very easy , most important effect ? BREAK THE GRUNGE CYCLE , all of my decks have had this , hot sun , conversion , hours in the sun , deck is physically very warm , that baked on / in stain , stays with it , also every related bearing , was cleaned out and re greased with , lucas , x tra hd , green chassis grease , no whyining noise , or failures . also spring hold my decks , over winter , to wall , in similar position , like a 2 step , lube base , , cable chain spray , let soak then , heat , then over spray with open gear spray , more hours in sun , once the duo sets up , its there to stay , have no rust / rot on any deck . that entire deck , pto , drive set up is a GOLD MINE for improvements , starting at side of battery tray ? finishing with a heim joint , 3 tractors , years in use , pete
