Lane Ranger 11,950 #1 Posted Monday at 02:11 AM Fyi I was removing my 42 inch recycling deck blades and noticed a difference between the regular 42 inch blades and ghe 42 recycling deck blades that I never paid attention too before. The recycling blade in second picture is on top and has a longer cutting edge. The regular 42 blade is on bottom and has about a two inch shorter cutting edge. Both blades would work on either mower deck from what i can tell. Anyone have any more details about this difference??

lynnmor 8,748 #3 Posted Monday at 02:13 PM Since the clippings are bottled up under the recycling deck, they likely made the longer cutting edge to help get the blade thru the mess. 2
CasaytheMann 40 #4 Posted 2 hours ago I pulled the blades off my unit, which is set up for recycling, to sharpen them. The cutting edge is basically as long as yours appear to be. I noticed when looking them up online that they're referred to as mulcher blades now.
