Wheel Bolt Pattern Compatiblity

Recommended Posts

fenderteleman

I see many John Deere 200-300 series rims and tires for sale, on FB Marketplace, but hardly any Wheel Horse  Rims/Tires.

Question 1 is :will the John Deere wheel bolt pattern fit on my 312 Wheel Horse?

Question 2 is: will John Deere front.rims with 15X6.00-6 tires fit on my 312 Wheel Horse

I think my front spindle is 3/4" .

I will probably put new tires all the way around on the 312 but temporarily, the John Deere Wheel idea could buy me a little time & still keep my 312 running & earning its keep. Tom

The rear wheel have the same bolt pattern but the backset is different. an inch or more deeper 2-1/2 inch vs 1-3/8 for wheel horse.  For hydros and some under seat gas tank there can be clearance issues. Tires will rub on stuff.

How about the John Deere 15X600-6 front wheels, will they fit on a 312?

The Wheel Horse front wheel has a 3 3/4" hub length, and 3/4" axle.  Most of what I see for sale on Ebay .has a 3" hub that will need a spacer on a Wheel Horse.

You can use a 3/4" collar and some washer to take up that space. Most will have steel or plastic bushings, instead of ball bearings. Some don't tell hub length or axle size.
