ebinmaine 78,221 #3 Posted 5 hours ago Can't say for sure but those look quite a lot like bicycle tire tube installation tools I've seen in the past
ri702bill 11,805 #4 Posted 4 hours ago Paul - do yourself a favor to avoid frustration. Inflate the tubes to about 5 PSI a few days before you plan to install them. I lay each on a hard flat surface, put either a stout pice of cardboard or plywood on top. And a brick on top of that... Take a tape measure to get a dimension from the top of the board to the hard surface below. Let it sit 2 days and remeasure. Verify they hold air....

That is an excellent idea...mind the say every tube is "filled with air by the manufacturer for 48 hours test to ensure good air tightness" yeah right... New tubes that don't hold air...electronic parts that don't work out of box Edited 1 hour ago by pfrederi
ri702bill 11,805 #6 Posted 1 hour ago Ah, the "joy" of cost reduced consumer products made in the Offshore Facility. Methinks maybe they get seasick & upchuck in the shipping container on the way over...
ebinmaine 78,221 #7 Posted 1 hour ago I've had tubes here that were new and had the rare custom ventilation slit by the valve. I wasn't a fan of that setup so they got returned. I know that's kinda fussy of me.
