Bar Nuthin 2,298 #2 Posted 13 hours ago English Translation Hello friends, After having thoroughly studied the characteristics of the 518‑H — and I thank you very much for that — I would now like to know everything about the hydraulics and the transmission of the C‑161 Auto. In fact, I read somewhere that there were two versions, one of which had an external parking brake like the mechanical transmissions, and that this was better for internal wear… Which models should one look for to be sure that it really is the version with the external brake? Thank you for your very technical answers. Friendly regards, Gilou
Bar Nuthin 2,298 #3 Posted 13 hours ago My 1979 C-141 Automatic has an external parking brake. I will have to look and see which model Sundstrand it uses.
c-series don 11,799 #5 Posted 10 hours ago I don’t believe any C-1_1’s came with an internal parking brake. To the best of my knowledge that stopped in 1977 with the C-160 and C-120 ? I have all of the 1978-79 C- Series tractors and they all have an external brake. A brake band that goes around a drum.
