oliver2-44 11,390 #26 Posted Wednesday at 09:26 PM (edited) Amazing how a topic about "Down Sizing" gets so many responses. Must be the "Guilt" in our subconscious mind rising to the surface. Speaking of subconscious minds, have I ever mentioned my wife added a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Degree and Licenses to her list of many last year. I have to be even more care about what I say as she takes every opportunity to practice her new trade on me. I need to down size, but don't dare make a statement out loud like that! Some years ago at work, the new management called it "Right Sizing" to put their "positive spin on it! I like "Right Sizing", one can argue that means go down or up! rjg854 12,947 #29 Posted 10 hours ago I've got my herd down to just what I need for the things I have to do around here. A tractor for each implement, and still have one just to cruise around on. 1

But one more thing: Don't forget a spare tractor for when another is in the shop! Gotta keep a working floater! ...And one for the wife. ...Oh no I am seeing a pattern here. 2 2

Thegearhead0324 1,462 #33 Posted 3 hours ago If I had the room with bigger outbuildings and land I would do the opposite, I would buy one for each implement. I live in town with 4 vehicles in my driveway, a vehicle in the garage, and my tractor with 2 dump carts and a plow blade in the back shed, and a 4x8 trailer behind that in a lean-to, along with tools and other stuff, the basement is all my woodworking stuff. Someday we will move to a nice piece of property so I can hoard some tractors . I sold 2 engines that were sitting in the shed and I think to myself that didn’t even help.
