I have already got time off from work and I’m looking into reserving a room not far from the show for 2 nights. I plan on attending Friday and Saturday. I plan on bringing the ol’ lady as well. What all is needed when I arrive there? Is there a fee? I’d like to bring my 1257 to ride around on, maybe. I’d also like to try and meet most of the good people from this forum but I only know user names, is there a spot “red square” usually has? I look forward to the show and see all the stuff and tractors. I’ll be there Friday and then go back to the hotel and then come back Saturday. Hopefully that’s ok. This year will be my first show as well. I live local to the event, just never worked out to make it until this year. The wife and I are going to be there Saturday morning to hopefully meet some people from here! And probably spend some money...

With the weather forecast showing rain for Friday and Saturday, I would suggest the following. Try to make it Friday. Even on a good Saturday, many of us pack up and start heading home early (before noon). Others pack up and wait for the tractor raffle, then leave (around 2:30 to 3:00). Me, I'm a diehard and wait until 2-3 pm before packing up. 2

Right in the screened pavilion where the concessions used to be. They'll be selling t shirts hats and WHCC membership there too. Easy to find. Raffle around noon. Saturday. Most important ice cream social Friday after supper time.

Thegearhead0324 1,574 #84 Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Made it to the show today, it’s the only day we went. I talked with quite a few people, everybody was friendly. I recognized a few other folks from pictures on here but I didn’t want to be that guy and barge in when they’re busy or talking with other people. I did buy merchandise and signed up for whcc, got my sickle bar from a gentleman, and drove the tractor around with the warden for a while. I also got in the redsquare group photo (I think). Good overcast day, the food was good and priced good as well. Now I know what to look forward to if we go next year, I appreciate all the info on here as it helped me at the show. Will be heading back to our 6 hour drive first thing in the morning. I see a lot of rain for tomorrow’s forecast. I will post pictures I took on here when I get better service tomorrow.
