John A 30 #1 Posted 3 hours ago I am looking for options or suggestions for repairs to my 2005 Wheel Horse Classic GT. The 15 HP engine apparently has an aluminum block. My issue appears the threads in the block for the starter bolts are stripped. Neither of the bolts will tighten. I can easily start the tractor but need to keep an eye on the bolts which have fallen out when cutting grass or other chores. Thanks for any help. Autoparts stores might be a better source - https://www.acehardware.com/departments/automotive-rv-and-marine/auto-tools-and-maintenance/thread-inserts/8088511?store=15447&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20158972939&gbraid=0AAAAADtqLJHMLafoblAMXBwlnb5OgXguA&gclid=CjwKCAjw1tLOBhAMEiwAiPkRHvTn_qbGBJO5a_sQU_Z3HCPNy5Q7LDeTvmVnPdGflwOw6ZtpUmqmgxoCkT4QAvD_BwE

Better than changing an otherwise good engine. You most likely will need to remove either the engine or all surrounding items that area. And you only get one chance to do it right...
