bloodhound 0 #1 Posted April 4 I just bought a 244h and the guy gave me a deck said it went with it but when I got home it doesn't look correct I'm not sure
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 12,234 #2 Posted April 4 Here is a deck for the 244-H. May not be same size but should hook up the same. Decks are sized by their width of cut - not the width of the deck.

kpinnc 18,238 #5 Posted April 5 Well, I thought I'd be able to help... That's a 37 inch side discharge, but I'm not sure what it fits. Definitely goes on a vertical shaft machine.
peter lena 9,885 #6 Posted April 6 @bloodhound had a 37 " gave it away on a swap ? my opinion , very poor design / set up , loaded with movement issues , would suggest a 36" R/D or side / rear 42 " discharge deck , also a very good time to do a deck spindle , bearing upgrade / lubrication change out , the transformation of a deck and related , mule drive bearing bearing lube change , is amazingly smooth , quiet . done a few of those decks , never had another issue . not that hard a change , this is a gold mine , area for improvement , lots of change areas , pete
kpinnc 18,238 #7 Posted April 6 Actually the 37 inch deck provides the most blade lift and an excellent cut compared to most Wheel Horse decks. Only deck to compare in my opinion would be the 60SD. While the deck is off is a good time to properly service it, and sharpen the blades.
