FLtractor 135 #1 Posted 8 hours ago Afternoon, In progress of installing my new Wheelhorse parts and more ignition. Old Ignition previous owner installed is wrong and no good. My new ignition has B,S, I letters B=Battery? I= Ignition? S= Starter? My wiring on Old starter is. Red (to coil) wire that to new I for ignition? middle black is battery cable - wire that to new B for battery? Left black wire is to starter generator- so I wire that to new S on ignition? Also installing a Facet electronic fuel pump.. Do I wire the red positive cable from the fuel pump to the I for ignition? Where I wire the coil cable to as well? Please correct me if wrong.. have attached pictures for reference.
ri702bill 11,550 #2 Posted 8 hours ago (edited) You are talking about a 656, right? Did you download the manual - it should clearly show the ignition switch wiring. Not so on the Facet pump (not offered by WH) The pump red wire goes to either the "I" terminal or at the coil "+" side. Do add an inline fuse in a weather resistant holder on that. The black goes to a good frame ground. This way, it turns off with the key off. Not a bad idea to add another fuse on the Battery wire to the keyswitch either... Where would the best place to get the proper in line fuses? No, I need to re locate the 856 manual and download it, maybe print it at the local library, put it in the toolbox Edited 6 hours ago by FLtractor

Any good Auto Parts store should have them - they usually come with no fuse provided as they do not know what amperage is needed.
