 @WHX?? @Achto any takers? :lol:

In all seriousness, I think if there were a free area maybe a requirement would be all items are labeled with the owner’s name. Keep from piling up junk, take your stuff home if it doesn’t get gobbled up by the @wallfish birds circling.  I found a GT14 tiller drive belt and some other belt for an attachment that @evanloock had been looking for for quite some time.  It was N.O.S. Wheel Horse and I just happened to be at the right place, right time, to pass it on.

Maybe someone should approach the horse trading area honcho about this idea?

Only thing is maybe tick off the guys that are trying to sell parts?

Definitely could lower some prices, but a LOT depends on what parts are in play at a given show and what buyer (or pickers) are seeking.

But, as always, the correct price is one that is acceptable to both parties.

So true! :thumbs:

Maybe just do the free stuff on a single day, like the last day of the show. That way the sellers still get a chance?

Yep that was a 7776 belt for an 8-3211 Farm PTO attachment.  Keen eye and great find Kevin!!

Come nice weather lemme look in the bone yard @wallfish there might be a roller out there we can play with & give it to a youngun.

@Achto always wanted to take a roller or carcass to a show and put it together with parts from the flea market.

Or do a budget build from parts found at the flea market either way. There are probably enough flea market parts at the big show to build 5 or 6  or more runners. Each one having a $400 or less budget.

I have two nearly complete 1974 C160-8 Tecumseh engine tractors and a spare engine along with some other Tecumseh parts.

I'd be willing to bring them to Athol MA as a donation if someone had an inkling to get them to PA.

You guys should do it. We've done a few of those over the years. It's fun, helps the vendors move product and someone always gets a good running tractor for good price.

If you guys are interested, I believe I'm gonna come to the BS this year and I can bring a carcass or two and tubs of parts. I think I'm only bringing two tractors, because I plan to bring things back....

Before I want back to work part time, I spent a couple of days in the shed going thru everything and writing it down. Put it all in a folder. I did this so if I see a wanted add, I can look in the book and say "I should have that, let me double check." I 've sold maybe 20 items since thru here or FB.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to retire again fully within the year. Then I'll have to do the same with tools! Lots of duplication.

Will you be parting with any 10mm sockets by any chance?
