:scratchead: if the loader, tiller and tractor are in good condition that is probably not a bad price the loader itself is a rather costly item, no mention of a mower deck could set you back a few $$ also check to see how much is original to the tractor. good luck

There are hydro rebuilds and there are hydro rebuilds....Test it and test it hard. Get it fully heated up and then try running the loader into a dirt pile..can you spin the wheels with weight box on the back?? How about up and down steep grades (in and out of ditches).

The hydro is probably the weakest part of a D and overhauls (good professional hydraulic shop overhauls) are expensive.

Also if it has been used much with a loader check over the steering very carefully for free play (Gear box, bell crank and tie rod ends). All are fixable but will cost $$$. also check the flat plate between the frame rails that the bell crank is bolted to. Heavy loads can bend it.

If it has a loader it better have 1" spindles.

Check the front axle pivot pin for looseness May be just teh pin (fairly cheap) or the axle housing itself...not so cheap for a 1"

The hydro and steering lessons come from personal experience :scratchead:

Thanks for the help,
