I may have lost my internet privileges for a while though, but I can live with that, for a day or two anyway:handgestures-thumbupright:.

Just tell the Warden :ranting: you were doing me a favor and I’m on my way to pick it up. Might take me longer than 1-1/2 hours :woohoo:

Jim, come by anytime. I will even let you drive it around yard multiple times in a semi circle with mule drive engaged and deck down. :ychain:.

Does anyone know what that seat came off of? It has decal on back that I believe says Weedeater, but not sure. It is all plastic with no cushion, very comfortable and easy to mount/dismount tractor. I wouldn't care to find another one like it. Another quick question: the motion control lever wants to creep back toward neutral while operating. Is there a friction adjustment somewhere? I haven't had a chance to check it out yet and thought someone might give me a headstart on what to look for. :D

Wasn’t Weedeater the name on the Kmart mowers?

thanks to @Sparky good eye I found a seller on flea bay selling seat for little less than $37 bucks but shippimg is almost $46 bucks. Little less than $83, not to bad but not too good either..

EDIT found another source for $53 shipped. Now that's more like it.

Yes, there is.

Oh, you probably want to know where and how to adjust it, too. :laughing-rolling:  :hide:

Under the seat through a hole in the fender, you’ll see a large hex head bolt positioned in the curved slot of a movable plate. The bolt holds a friction washer against the plate. Adjust the tightness there (and, of course, NO lubricants!)
