@BlaineUpdate: The push rod I have is 1 1/2 inches long. If that will work for you you can have all of the stuff in the picture. If the push rod won't work you can still have everything else if you want it.

According to my tape measure they measure the length you stated above, you can have them and see if they'll work if you'd like. Don't want anyone having to go home with a dead horse, thats happened to us before and its not very fun.

I’m seeing closer to 1.250” on your tape measure… about 1/4” short.

Yeah, I realized that after the fact that I apparently can't read a tape measure tonight. We do have a 14 horse that if i can get the push rod out of you can still have all of the stuff. Update, the push rod is not wanting to come out of the 14 horse but you can still have the points, condenser, and cover, and gasket, and screws to help narrow down your search.

That would be a 103990 ignition switch. This drawing will give you a start in the right direction. This is presuming you have a starter as opposed to a Starter / Generator. If you have a S/G we have a drawing for that too.

Yes, it has the starter. Bushings in it were dry, so i cleaned things up in there and lubed it. Brushes are looking pretty short but it sounds like it’ll work for now. I’ll have to see if my switch is a 103990, but i don’t think so…i don’t think it has that many terminals. 
 

 Things might pan out to be mowing with Whitey this weekend if i can find the 6908 drive pulley, a 1563 belt, and a side PTO in Ed’s buckets.

Having been a breakerless ignition system on a '70s tractor it wouldn't have the five terminal more modern ignition switch. While at the show you can look for the 103990 switch and a "Pigtail" for it.

@Blaine @Achto and I used to shop here https://www.psep.biz/ and they had all the stuff for what you are looking for including the push rod. Haven't shopped there in awhile but was a good source for stuff.

Sorry, i was referring to another switch i have, maybe from my long gone 867. It’s a 3 terminal that doesn’t use a starter relay. I’m not too concerned about a switch as i can work with what i’ve got. I could just add a hidden toggle switch to power the coil. Kinda like an anti-theft device. Lol

 

while looking for the switch i found a side PTO, but it’s not slotted, no hole for the latch, and missing the pulley, so it could be made to work, but i’ll still need a latch also.
