Tgalo 123 #1 Posted 8 hours ago I bet this is already somewhere on the forum, but I can't find it. Anybody have a part number for a rear axle seal for a 520? The Toro seal is 22 bucks. Thanks, T

Tgalo 123 #7 Posted 5 hours ago Let me ask, if I have a axle bearing problem, are parts available for these things? I have been building transmissions for over 40 years so I'm sure I can do this if I can get parts. Thanks,T

ri702bill 11,260 #10 Posted 4 hours ago Getting the hub off first may be easier having the gear oil migrate along under the hub over time... or, it may be a showstopper....
Tgalo 123 #11 Posted 4 hours ago Well, the hub slid right off thanks to the leak. It does have some radial play but how much is normal? Seems a bit much to me. The oil seems clean and I don't hear any noise when I rotate the wheel, its smooth. Going to put a seal in and see what happens. If it still leaks, I know I can get the bearings. Thank you pfrederi for those numbers, I'm going to order two of each as I have a bad feeling. T

Best to replace before a ball ends up in the tranny.
