Raider69 124 #1 Posted February 28 (edited) Disregard, I found my answer. I'm swapping a K301 AQS series out of a "John Doe" into a '68 Raider 9 to replace the Tecumseh HH100. The AQS is a narrow base so I'm using the cradle mounts and deeper oil pan from a Wheelhorse with an AS series. Does anyone know if the cradles use the same mounting holes as the Tecumseh or a wide base K series? Edited February 28 by Raider69 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Lee1977 7,632 #2 Posted March 1 (edited) The Cradle mount doesn't used the Kohler, Tesumesh holes. The cradle bars mount in front and belind those holes. I think the two narrow holes on this 300 frame are for the front cradle bar. The 8 HP engine bracket is mounted in the same holes as the large Kohler and Tesumseh engines.
