oldlineman 1,646 #10 Posted 11 hours ago Praying for safety for all affected! We here in western highlands of Pa are doing well about 2" or 3" so far, they were calling for 5" to 8" so we may have dodged this one, got 17" in the last one, stay safe, and don't overdo the snow removal, some of us aren't as young as we once were.

Wayne0 1,499 #16 Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Here in S. Cow Hampshire we've got about 4" more on the ground, but still coming down, mostly sideways. Gonna go all day. Both tractors full, genny full and all gas cans full as well as the fridge and bar I'm glad I'm retired. My old boss was so cheap, the company would be open today! peter lena 9,756 #23 Posted 7 hours ago @Wayne0 all windows are like a frozen coral reef , that early AM RAIN just froze in place , just electric power shoveled , front of garage doors , that helped a lot , just a rolling auger , initial swipe , maybe half of snow depth , not trying for all of it , then then coming back with wheels on ground for second clear path . that double take is the way to go , makes it easier all around , another very evident issue , is over dressing when exerting , sense what works / does not . local weather says wind will not drop off till after 6 tonight , now that garage , is open , will try blower later , just a powered walk out the door , SHACKELTON , PETE
Darb1964 1,139 #24 Posted 7 hours ago My sister in Bridgewater Massachusetts is without power, high winds and lots of snow. She said she can't see out of any of her windows. I have about 6 inches in the Berkshires of Massachusetts with little wind and light snow. Hopefully we don't get much more in the Berkshires we have enough for past storms.
