Love your house. Definitely the type of setup I need when I get older. Did you buy it or build it? 2

I general contracted just the house 29 years ago. Then we had the room/porch and 3 bay added on 10 or 12 years later. We came from a 3 level condo before the house and both the wife and I were sick of stairs. I still have a basement in this house and the washer/dryer are down there, but for the most part it’s one level living.

wallfish 19,556 #55 Posted February 28 (edited) It was warm enough to get out there and get that idler arm spring attached to its proper location. Changed the idler out too as it had some bearing wobble to it. I couldn't find a good spring so just used the old one for now but this will get revisited again since there are quite a few things on it which could use some attention Edited February 28 by wallfish 3

Or they can not come out. I have one that squeals when you engage the belt so I’m thinking bad bearings?

No, There's always a bunch of pulleys in stock around here from so many projects that it's just simpler to change the whole thing. Seems a bad bearing would make noise all the time so I'd guess that squeal from the initial engagement would probably be from belt slip. 1
