i use leaf blower after every mow -- including the fins and entire rear tractor area -- important to avoid any oil or grease substance getting on fins because that becomes glue for dirt and dust to accumulate/stick - - although the grass sap can work like glue also on the tranny fins - last yr i did remove a hydro to clean and paint -- not a fun job getting between each of those fin spaces
