Is there a simple way to remove wheel weights that have been on the tractor for years?

Is there a secret to taking wheel weights that have been on tractor for years off?  I smashed one to rubble , but have 1 to go? I was just thinking that people with more experience than I would know. I'm sure they are chuckling right now and probably saying yep heard that before! So is there a trick? I would like to put some back on. I have a loader on the tractor and want as much weight as possible. I was thinking maybe grease the inside of the rim before putting the wheel weights back on? Just grasping at straws so I don't have to do this again. Way too much work and I'm old!

   Thanks,

   Lance

Maybe the paint was still wet when they were put on???

What about trying heat, or spraying something in that edge? A steel bar through the slots from the rear side and hammer it out?

Just spit balling ideas
