Sarge 3,470 #1 Posted October 1, 2009 Ok, got a line on a manufacturer that may be able to make new lift cables. What I need, however , are examples/pics/measurements off various models/years . So, post 'em up if you have them and especially if know exactly what they came off of. For the ones that use the factory sleeves/crimps, measurement needed is distance between the inside of the crimps. This leaves out varying lengths on the clevis ends , ect. I do know for instance, mid-late 60's with the conduit are 21.5" . Sarge

Sarge 3,470 #3 Posted October 1, 2009 Just for now trying to focus on the early style cables with armor conduit and open clevis ends. The problem with this style cable is clearance, the newer replacements won't allow enough room for the hitch to lower all the way when using plows or certain rear implements.
